Introduction:
As an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, it is my goal to provide a high quality education to students in order to prepare them for the workforce or graduate school. This includes a combination of challenging coursework and research projects.
My primary area of research is stellar populations and pulsating variable stars. In studying these things, we can learn more about the formation of our Milky Way Galaxy. Students contribute to this research by helping to process images and analyze data. They have the opportunity to present their results at conferences and publish it in journals. I have also assisted students who are interested in rocketry.
